SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) - Fifth Third Park in downtown Spartanburg will open its gates Wednesday for a night of Halloween fun for the whole family.
The Hub City Spartanburgers are hosting their first ever "Chuck-or-Treat" event at the ballpark beginning at 5 p.m.
There will be trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating stations, photo opportunities with Spartanburgers team mascots, along with live music and entertainment.
Admission to the event is free and ballpark concessions will be available for purchase.
The team said local businesses and community partners will be on hand to distribute candy and treats.
Attendees are encouraged to wear a costume and bring a treat bag.
A costume contest will take place with the winners taking home a gift card for Spartanburgers merchandise.
