GREENVILLE, S.C. — Convicted Upstate serial killer Todd Kohlhepp has been moved to supermax confinement indefinitely after a FOX Carolina investigation revealed he was trying to profit from his crimes while in prison.
On Tuesday, several families of Kohlhepp’s victims met with the Attorney General’s office for an update.
In supermax confinement, Kohlhepp has no visitors, no phone access and no tablet.
Cameras monitor him 24 hours a day, and he can only leave his cell one hour per day.
FOX Carolina first uncovered messages Kohlhepp sent from his prison-issued tablet, showing he was plotting to make money from his crimes by selling autographed memorabilia to people outside prison.
