New Delhi : Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday strongly condemned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his alleged remarks on the Chhath festival during his Bihar campaign, saying that his comments had deeply hurt the sentiments of millions of devotees.
In a sharp statement posted on social media, Pradhan said that Rahul Gandhi’s remarks from “the sacred soil of Bihar” amounted to an insult to ‘Lok Aastha ka Mahaparv Chhath’ and reflected his “hatred towards Sanatan culture.” He added that Gandhi’s statement exposed the Congress party’s “deep-rooted frustration and animosity” against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
