Jaiveer Singh won the gold medal in the boys’ 55 kg freestyle wrestling, beating Japan’s Yamato Furusawa despite trailing 0-6 in the final.
He defeated Kazakhstan’s Ibrahim Yskakbek 5-0 in the semifinal. Rachana bagged a bronze medal in the girls’ 43 kg event, defeating the Kyrgyzstan wrestler by an emphatic 11-0 margin.
