An aide to Gov. Maura Healey faces cocaine trafficking charges after 8 kilograms — or about 18 pounds — of cocaine was delivered to the Western Massachusetts man on Saturday at a state-owned building in Springfield, officials said.

That’s in addition to 13 kilograms, or about 29 pounds, delivered to a hotel at the University of Massachusetts Amherst earlier this month, according to investigators, for a total of more than 46 pounds.

The government building at 436 Dwight St., often referred to as “the little State House,” is home to several state offices, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the secretary of the commonwealth’s western division.
