DETROIT, Mich. (WILX) - Lions star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is staying home.
Detroit is signing Hutchinson to a four-year contract extension, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal is reportedly worth $180 million, with $141 million guaranteed.
That would make him the second-highest paid pass rusher in the NFL, behind Green Bay’s Micah Parsons, according to Schefter.
The former University of Michigan star is back in action this year after a gruesome knee injury last year derailed his season.
Through seven games, Hutchinson ranks in the top 10 league-wide with six sacks. He leads the league with four forced fumbles.
