ST. ANNE, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police have released more information about what led up to a deadly officer-involved shooting in north St. Louis County in August.

The shooting happened shortly after midnight in the 3300 block of Welsberg Drive on August 20.

Video footage released by police on Wednesday morning showed police attempting to pull over a red Pontiac near the intersection of North and South Rd and St. Charles Rock Road for running a stop sign, but the car continued.

The pursuit continued on North Hanley Road and ended in the 3300 block of Welsberg Drive. Police said the video showed two suspects getting out of the car and attempting to run into the house. Officers followed the driver to arrest him.
