OXFORD, Miss. (WMC) - Carrying on with her husband’s plans. Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika, is set to speak alongside Vice President J.D. Vance at Ole Miss on Wednesday as part of the Turning Point USA speaking tour.

Turning Point USA says this event is a way of honoring Kirk’s mission and legacy.

The event begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Pavilion at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss was one of the schools next on the list for the speaking tour that Kirk was on before his tragic death in Utah.

He was shot back on September 10 at Utah Valley University , speaking to a crowd of around 3,000 people.

At the time those shots were fired off, Kirk was answering questions about mass shootings in America.

That stop, was the first of 15 planned events as part of the “American Come Back Tour.”
