In Kothagudem, Superintendent of Police B Rohith Raju handed over ₹9.5 lakh in reward money to three surrendered Maoists as part of a government-sanctioned rehabilitation initiative. He condemned the Maoist leadership for exploiting tribals and urged remaining underground cadres to surrender and embrace democratic methods.

Kothagudem: Superintendent of Police B Rohith Raju on Wednesday handed over the reward money sanctioned by the government to three Maoists who recently surrendered before the district police.

Cash cheques worth Rs 9.50 lakh were handed over to Ram Singh Kaude alias Naroti Manish (Rs 5 lakh), Muchiki Sondal alias Naresh (Rs 3.75 lakh) and Sodi Bheeme (Rs 75,000). The reward money was given for their rehabilitation, the SP informed.
