CLEVELAND — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit on Wednesday near West 58th Street and Lorain Avenue, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.

A police spokesperson said preliminary information indicates the pedestrian is an approximately 70-year-old woman. She was taken to the hospital by Cleveland EMS.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
