CIRCLEVILLE — Downtown Circleville was alive with Halloween excitement on Tuesday, October 28, as hundreds of children, families, and community members filled the streets for the city’s annual Downtown Circleville Halloween Fun Night.
Sponsored by the City of Circleville, the event offered a safe and festive way for kids to celebrate the season. Trick-or-treating ran from 5 to 6 p.m., with local businesses handing out candy and decorating storefronts for visiting ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses.
Following the candy-filled fun, participants gathered in Pumpkin Show Park for the lively costume contest at 6:15 p.m. Roughly 100 contestants competed across six age categories:
Baby to 3 years
Ages 4 to 6
Ages 7 to 9
Ages 10 to 12
Ages 13 and up
Group/Family costumes
