LSU football already made one change ahead of its Nov. 8 matchup with Alabama , firing head coach Brian Kelly on Sunday. According to interim coach Frank Wilson, the Tigers won’t be making another.
During the SEC’s weekly coaches media teleconference, Wilson was asked if quarterback Garrett Nussmeier would be starting against the Crimson Tide. Wilson said that he would be, but backup Michael Van Buren could also have a role.
“I think Garrett is our starting quarterback,” Wilson said. “I think he gives us a great opportunity to be efficient with our offense.
