Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress spokesperson Dr Vikram Choudhary has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of betraying urban India by transforming cities into hubs of chaos, disorder, and corruption during its two decades of rule.

Dr Choudhary said that while the BJP has long been regarded as the “party of cities”, it has failed to provide a coherent urban policy or prepare cities for future challenges. “Today, cities in Madhya Pradesh are trapped in a web of illegal colonies, traffic congestion, sewage crises, and unplanned construction,” he remarked.
