Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, launched a strong critique of the opposition during rallies in Bihar, targeting Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. He accused them of promoting dynastic politics, asserting that their aspirations for their sons to hold significant political positions would not materialize as "both the posts are not vacant." Shah emphasized that the BJP has nominated many young candidates for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, contrasting this with the RJD and Congress, which he claimed are focused on advancing their family members' political careers.

In his address in Begusarai, Shah stated, "I want to say this to Sonia ji and Lalu ji — 'Bihar mein na CM pad khali hai, Delhi mein PM pad khali hai. Aapke beto ka number nahi lagne wala hai.'" He described the opposition alliance as a corrupt coalition, dubbing it a 'thug bandhan' and accused it of protecting infiltrators in Bihar's voter lists. Shah also criticized Rahul Gandhi, questioning his commitment to addressing the issue of Bangladeshi infiltrators in Bihar.

Shah framed the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections as crucial for the state's future, warning voters against returning to a "jungle raj" that he claimed had previously devastated Bihar. He recounted the state's troubled past under Lalu and Rabri Yadav, stating, "For 15 years, Lalu and Rabri devastated the land of Bihar. Now, after 20 years, that same jungle raj is returning in the form of Tejashwi and Rahul's alliance."

In a separate interview, Shah reiterated that the NDA would contest the elections under Nitish Kumar's leadership, dismissing any confusion regarding the Chief Ministerial candidate. He expressed confidence that the NDA would secure a significant victory, stating, "I have full faith that the NDA will win in Bihar after securing more than a two-thirds majority."

Shah's remarks come as the opposition, particularly Tejashwi Yadav, has criticized the NDA for not declaring its Chief Ministerial face, suggesting that Nitish Kumar is merely a figurehead in the alliance. The assembly elections are scheduled for November 6 and 11, with results to be announced on November 14. Shah's comments reflect the ongoing political tensions as parties prepare for the upcoming electoral battle in Bihar.
