A car has crashed into a Scots restaurant, leaving onlookers shocked and the vehicle a mangled wreck. ‌

The incident took place at around 4pm on Wednesday, October 29 when the vehicle ploughed into an eatery on Dunfermline High Street. ‌

The car plummeted into Carlucci, an Italian restaurant situated in the centre of town, a popular spot for locals. Photos taken at the scene and shared on social media show the front of the blue car completely smashed up. ‌

The front left hand side of the motor has been ripped from its body. Debris can be seen strewn across the town centre streets while a concerned person can be seen standing guard, on their phone , surveying the damage.
