SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga Bulldogs continue their recruiting hot streak with another commitment as 6'5 wing Dooney Johnson joins the Zags for 2027.

ESPN's No. 28 recruit in the 2027 class, Johnson is the fourth-highest recruit Mark Few brings to Spokane, only below Chet Holmgren (No. 1), Hunter Sallis (No. 16) and Nolan Hickman (No. 24).

Johnson committed after a visit for Gonzaga's exhibition game Monday against Western Oregon, and he cited the support for recent transfer Tyon Grant-Foster was a factor in his decision.

The four-star recruit averaged over 25 points and eight rebounds a game for his Milwaukee, WI high school, and he picked the Zags over schools like Syracuse, LSU, Wake Forest, Missouri and Indiana.
