PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Multiple people were injured after a crash involving five vehicles in Peoria.

At 11:46 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, Peoria police went to the 1200 block of West Willow Lane near North University Street, after getting reports of the accident, said Peoria Police Department spokesperson Semone Roth.

She said there were only minor injuries involved, but there is no exact number of how many people were injured at this time.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
