(WNDU) - Foster teenagers in need of adoption are hoping to connect with a new family before time runs out. Many of them will be graduating soon and need help looking for a job or applying to schools.
Grant Me Hope sent us the story of 17-year-old Kaylee. She is a sophomore who likes school — especially art class and science.
“What I do these days is I do drawing usually, I color, I paint. But I usually like, draw cats, dogs,” Kaylee says. “My favorite subject is science.”
Those science classes will come in handy when Kaylee graduates and takes classes in animal science.
“What I want to be when I grow up is a vet. I want to be a vet because I love animals. And I grew up with animals. I grew up taking care of, like, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, cows,” Kaylee says.
