SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The South Bend Fire Department is teaming up with the ‘Notre Dame Red Cross Club’.

The two will host a ‘Smoke Alarm Canvas’ this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Crews will be out in the neighborhood, south of Marshall Traditional School.

They’ll be stopping by homes to install smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and to check existing ones.

All services are completely free.

If you don’t live in the area but still need alarms installed, you can apply online for our free smoke alarm program.
