CLEVELAND, Ohio — Northeast Ohio’s stretch of calm fall weather will come to an end Wednesday night as widespread rain moves in from the south, ushering in a windy, unsettled pattern that will linger through the weekend.
High pressure centered over eastern Canada will slide east Wednesday as a strengthening storm system tracks north from the Tennessee Valley. Clouds will continue to increase through the afternoon, with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 50s across the region — near seasonal averages for late October.
