KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The new Catawba Two Kings Casino is one step closer to opening its doors after the final beam was placed atop the building on Monday, marking a significant construction milestone.

Monday's ceremony included performances and remarks from Catawba Nation before the beam, signed by Catawba leaders, citizens and partners, was lifted by crane and placed on top of the casino.
