FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - The 32-year-old daycare worker in Fond du Lac accused of child abuse leading to an infant's broken arm was in court on Tuesday for an initial appearance.

Ashley Karschnick is charged with one count of physical abuse of a child, as the Fond du Lac Police Department claims that surveillance video showed her breaking an infant's arm on October 13 while working at a daycare in Fond du Lac.

Karschnick's bond was already set at $2,500 on October 21. During her initial appearance on Tuesday, October 28, the defense argued to modify the conditions of the bond, which states that Karschnick may not have contact with children under 12, aside from her own kids.
