Owners of condos in the former Immaculate Conception Church on Harrison Avenue at East Concord Street in the South End today sued the Natick developer they say left the re-fitted buildings in terrible shape.
In its suit, filed in Suffolk Superior Court, the Cosmopolitan Condominium Trust, which represents owners at 761 and 771 Harrison Avenue, say developer Ronald Simons, who won BPDA approval in 2021 to turn the church and an adjacent building into 63 condos, left new unit owners with problems that include a roof that lets wind-driven rain inside, gutters and downspouts clogged with construction debris, drafty windows and doors, exterior walls that are already showing signs of wear and an awful HVAC system.
The suit alleges the HVAC system leaks and already requires a complete rebuild,
