Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Liberal Riding Association volunteers will be in Meaford, Owen Sound and Wiarton on Saturday, Nov. 8 to collect non-perishable food items for local food banks.
They’ll be knocking on doors between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in parts of each of those communities that day. Volunteers will be wearing identification. Article content

The volunteers will be particularly seeking canned soups, vegetables, fruits and sauces, peanut butter, canned meat and beans, baby food and formula, pet food, feminine hygiene products, and diapers and infant supplies.
The association encourages people who do not receive a knock at the door for a food donation to consider dropping off food donations at a local food bank, said volunteer Donna Gorrie. Article co
