Just days before Halloween, Zingerman’s Candy has recalled two types of candy bars due to undeclared allergens that could cause life-threatening reactions for those with cashew and peanut allergies.
Michigan-based Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory has recalled its Peanut Butter Crush full-size bars and Ca$hew Cow full-size bars after being sold in packaging that did not disclose the presence of allergens, according to a notice by the FDA .
People who have allergies to cashews or peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the recalled candy bars.
