Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones is an even-keeled guy, but he can't help but get excited when executing plays called by coach Shane Steichen .
Jones joined the " Pat McAfee Show " this week and said when Steichen considers plays, he's expecting to be in the end zone soon.
"When we're talking about something on the sideline, he'll be like, 'OK, I'll call this one for 20 (yards), then when we get the ball there, we'll probably score. But if we don't score, we'll call this play and then we'll definitely score,'" Jones said.
"It's all very positive. Every single play will be 15-, 20-yarder, and the next one is a 15-yarder."
Jones, in his seventh NFL season, is having his best year, completing 71.2% of his passes for 2,062 yards, with 13 touchdowns against 3 interceptions
