GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The 31-year-old Greenfield man charged with attempted first-degree homicide for a stabbing in December 2024 had his jury trial dates pushed back to early in 2026, with additional dates set.
Court records show that 31-year-old Jaharrie Jelks was in court on Wednesday for what was initially set as the first of a two-day jury trial for his alleged involvement in a December 2024 stabbing in Green Bay.
Jelks is still facing the following charges, with possible punishments listed for each (if he were to be convicted): • Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide – Repeater, Use of a Dangerous Weapon Class B Felony – Up to 60 years in prison • Class B Felony – Up to 60 years in prison • False Imprisonment – Repeater, Use of a Dangerous Weapon Class H Felony – Up
