LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
An Indiana man has been indicted again in a deadly Louisville shooting after the case was dismissed without prejudice earlier this year.
Benjamen Strange was arrested in 2023 in connection to a fatal shooting in the 300 block of Idlewylde Drive.
Police said Strange fatally shot 31-year-old Sean Gray on Aug. 2, 2023.
The charges against Strange were dropped in April after a judge ruled he was not competent to stand trial.
A doctor testified that Strange suffers from schizoaffective disorder and delusions as a result. The doctor also added that Strange has previously been hospitalized for his disorder.
Strange was indicted again on Oct. 7 for murder and receiving stolen property in the case.
He is set to appear in court in December.
