Microsoft experienced an outage in its Azure cloud computing platform on Wednesday, affecting multiple services from Microsoft 365 to Xbox.

According to Downdetector, which tracks user reports of outages, the problems began shortly after 11:30 a.m. ET. The outage comes just over a week after a massive outage affecting Amazon Web Services that took down numerous websites for hours.

According to the latest update on Azure's status page, Microsoft identified the cause of the problem and has pushed a fix, but it could take several hours to fully go into effect. It expects everything to be working properly by 7:20 p.m. ET.
