TOLEDO, Ohio — Former Bedford High School assistant football coach Christopher Wilhelm was sentenced to eight years in prison in Ohio after pleading guilty to two counts of sexual battery involving a student, according to Lucas County court records.

Wilhelm was sentenced on Tuesday, Oct. 28, after a judge ordered Wilhelm to serve two consecutive four-year prison terms in the state of Ohio. The sentence will run consecutively to a prison term imposed in Michigan for related conduct. Wilhelm was previously sentenced to 60 months to 15 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections.
