A New York City cop has opened his heart and home to an adorable kitten he rescued from potential danger earlier this month.
Officer Frank Squillante of the New York Police Department rescued the young tabby male from underneath a food truck near Central Park on the evening of Oct. 9, according to a video the department shared on social media.

Squillante told amNY.com he received multiple 911 calls reporting that an animal had been struck by a vehicle in New York City's Midtown area. When he arrived at the scene, he found witnesses gathered around a food truck.
