Crispin Sartwell’s Oct. 25 op-ed, “As a professor, I've seen woke and MAGA censorship. Which is worse?,” ably explained the dangers of government threats against universities for political purposes. However, he claimed MAGA’s acts of censorship force better educational outcomes by countering wokeness in academia. It’s important to note that wokeness is not an organization or a set of rules.
