LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- It's time to reveal the Week 8 Play of the Week and Week 9 Game of the Week.

The Teurlings Rebels continued their undefeated streak with an 8-0 record after a decisive win over East Ascension, highlighted by Spencer Meche's impressive 77-yard touchdown run, which is our week 8 Play of the Week.

In the game against East Ascension, Meche finished with 104 yards on just six carries and scored two touchdowns, both in the first half.

Teurlings is set to face St. Thomas More on Friday, aiming to extend its perfect season to 9-0.

Meanwhile, the week 9 Game of the Week will take place in Acadia Parish, where the 6-2 Notre Dame Pioneers will host the 7-1 Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers.
