CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A new apartment building is coming to Cleveland’s Clark Fulton neighborhood.
The $19 million project will be exclusively for seniors.
The Walton apartments will feature 52 units, offering 1 and 2 bedroom options.
Each unit will have its own washer and dryer.
There will also be a fitness center, salon, and computer lab in the building.
It’s funded by several organizations and grants, including the Cleveland Housing Investment Fund.
“We have an aging city,” said Mayor Justin Bibb. “As I’m talking to a lot of seniors across Cleveland, they want to see more good quality affordable housing, and this fits the bill”.
Other partners include Volker Development Inc., Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Cleveland, KeyBank, Ohio Housing Finance Agency, Cuyahoga
