Gusty winds will taper down as we head into Wednesday night.
Lake effect clouds will persist through Thursday.
Showers possible Friday into Saturday.
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Tonight through Thursday night, lake-effect clouds will linger along the Lake Michigan shoreline with minimal precipitation expected. Northerly winds will keep low-level moisture in place, resulting in scattered cloud cover overnight. A small chance of light sprinkles may occur Thursday morning to afternoon near the lake, but overall conditions will stay mostly dry due to rising surface pressure and limited moisture availability.
