DICKINSON — For the past nine years, Krista Bothum of Bluebird Photography has spent her Halloween hosting a food drive for AMEN Food Pantry in Dickinson. Over the years, the event has brought in 7 tons of food and $10,000 of monetary donations for the pantry.

Bothum has always been interested in photography. She is proudly self taught, and has experience in both film and digital photography. 13 years ago, Bothum took the leap and launched her photography career here in Dickinson. Her risk was rewarded, and she said that Bluebird Photography was “immediately busy and booked.”

After a few years of successful business, Bothum was looking for a way to support her community after all it had done for her:
