BATON ROUGE, La. -- A former Webster Parish sheriff's deputy has been arrested for allegedly doing unauthorized searches of the state law enforcement database to get personal information.
It's the second time this year charges have been filed against former Det. Spencer White.
Today, the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested White on charges of malfeasance and trespass against state computers. In June, the sheriff's office arrested Spencer on three counts of forgery and one count each of malfeasance and filing or maintaining public records. All are felony offenses.
