Jamar Champ, the estranged husband of former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Masika Kalysha, has died following a wrong-way collision in Houston. He was 38.

The fatal crash occurred around 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday on the Katy Freeway, according to KHOU11 . Champ was driving a Tesla Cybertruck when a BMW traveling in the wrong direction crashed head-on into his vehicle.

“We believe at this time that the BMW was headed westbound in the eastbound lanes going the wrong direction,” HPD Sgt. Rebecca Dallas told KHOU 11.

The BMW driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the vehicle burst into flames after impact, according to the Houston Police Department . The collision propelled Champ’s Cybertruck into a semi-truck.
