Thurmont Commissioner Lookingbill pleads guilty to assault, sex offense

Thurmont Commissioner Robert Lookingbill pleaded guilty on Wednesday to assault and sex offense charges and will serve four years of probation.

Lookingbill, 73, entered an Alford plea to second-degree assault and fourth-degree sex offense charges. An Alford plea is not an admission of guilt, but an acknowledgment that prosecutors have enough evidence to convict.
