The Blue Jays wasted no time making a statement in Game 5 on Wednesday night in Los Angeles, doing something that's never been done in the World Series.

Davis Schneider smacked the first pitch of the game from Dodgers lefty Blake Snell for a leadoff homer. Then two pitches later, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went deep for his eighth homer of the postseason. The Blue Jays became the second team in postseason history to go back-to-back to lead off a game, joining the A's, who did it in Game 3 of the 2002 AL Division Series.
