NEW YORK -- Monday night's 18-inning marathon between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays in Game 3 of the World Series averaged 11.31 million viewers in the U.S., according to Nielsen, Fox and MLB. That is a 17% decline from the audience of last year's third game between the Dodgers and New York Yankees , and it wasn't the most-watched program of the night.
The "Monday Night Football" game between the Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs averaged 17.6 million on ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and NFL+ streaming, making it the highest MNF Week 8 audience since Washington at Dallas in 2014.
