MARINELAND, Fla. — A group that wants to save Marineland from development could have a fighting chance, legally.

A group of dolphin professionals claims they were left of out the bidding process during the bankruptcy auction earlier this month.

And now, the information the group submitted to the court has caught the judge’s attention.

"This is really a David and Goliath moment," Jack Kassewitz told First Coast News Tuesday, a day after a legal hearing to determine the future of the Marineland property. He feels like he and his team are "David," and they are up against bidders with more money. After the hearing, he added, "and David won."

He wants to keep Marineland... well, Marineland.
