A semi-truck driver drove off the roadway and into a patch of trees near Tiger Mountain Summit early Wednesday morning, causing lane closures and lengthy delays.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., Eastside Fire & Rescue (EFR) responded to the collision on westbound State Route 18 (SR 18) near MP 25, where the driver had sustained serious injuries, EFR announced .
