SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Wednesday, Utah! After another cold morning start, things warmed into the 50s and 60s for Utah with some 70s for southwest Utah. Get ready for the "three C's" to return Wednesday night. Clear skies, calm winds, and cold temperatures return for our Thursday morning.
Thursday will feature another day with the inversion layer holding strong over the Wasatch Front. Highs will flirt with the 60-degree mark, but warmer temperatures will be expected outside of the valleys. Highs will climb into the 60s and upper 70s for southwest Utah.
A weak front will cross Northern Utah Thursday, bringing a minor wind shift, and will potentially help to mix up the air a bit to clear the haze. This will lead to mainly sunshine with a few passing clouds across the entire state Thu
