ACT minor political parties and independents have unified against Transport Minister Chris Steel by passing a censure motion following the release of a scathing report into MyWay+ .
Politicians use censure motions to express formal disapproval of a policy or person. Labor members voted against the motion but it passed with the support of ACT Greens, Canberra Liberals and independents Thomas Emerson and Fiona Carrick.
Greens politician Andrew Braddock introduced the motion following a damning report on the rollout of new public transport ticketing system, MyWay+ .
"This damning report shows systemic failures of the MyWay+ rollout under the Transport Minister's watch," Mr Braddock said.
