A third of Montreal voters are ready to cast their ballot for Soraya Martinez Ferrada as mayor, according to a new poll released Wednesday.
The Pallas Data poll for Ryan Affaires Publiques continues a trend of recent polls suggesting undecided voters are breaking for the Ensemble Montréal leader. Martinez Ferrada’s support has climbed to 33 per cent, versus only 18 per cent for Projet Montréal leader Luc Rabouin.
Just over a month ago, more than half of Montreal voters didn’t know or wouldn’t say who they would vote for. In the latest poll, the number of undecideds has dropped to 29 per cent.
Martinez Ferrada’s support is strongest among non-francophones, with 46 per cent of them choosing her versus only six per cent for Rabouin, who is within half a percentage point of Action Montréal
