PLAQUEMINE, La. (WAFB) - One person has been arrested after a shooting took place at Club Secret in Plaquemine on Wednesday, Oct. 29, in the evening.

According to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office, a gun was accidentally discharged inside Club Secret, and one person was injured. Injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening.

The suspect has been detained. Officials confirmed the suspect and victim knew each other before the shooting took place.

This is an ongoing investigation. No further details are available at this time.
