CRANSTON – In the blink of an eye, Moses Brown showed why it went undefeated and is the best field hockey team in Rhode Island.
It took just as long for La Salle’s Ella Hyland to show why she’s one of the best players in the state.
The Quakers showed up for their annual date at Cranston Stadium and barely needed two minutes to show it was a business trip. Moses Brown scored early, then Maeve Stilley added two more before halftime as it rolled to a 4-0 win over Barrington, earning a trip to the RIIL State Championship game on Sunday, Nov. 2 .
