TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Last week was a happy homecoming for the Valdosta State Blazers. Graham Craig and company got back on track as VSU downed north Greenville at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.
It was a good time to have what coach called their best game this season, and now it’s conference play from here on out for the red and black.
Winning the Gulf South would still give the Blazers an auto berth into the Division II playoffs, but first things first, taking care of 21st ranked West Alabama this Saturday.
The Tigers are currently winless in GSC play and are desperate for a win. Coach Craig said he knows it’s going to take a full effort to down them at home and start league play 1-0.
Kickoff is set for 1:00.
