Legislators raise several public issues during Zero Hour in J&K Assembly
Srinagar: The Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, Wednesday urged legislators to exercise restraint and use measured language while participating in debates to uphold the sanctity of the House. He observed that members, as representatives of the people, must show mutual respect and maintain the decorum of the Assembly.
During the Zero Hour, several legislators raised pressing public issues, concerning their respective constituencies.
Shagun Parihar, MLA Kishtwar, highlighted that certain remote areas like Chatter to Oli continue to lack road access, forcing residents to carry patients in palkis.She also sought expeditious completion of ongoing road projects in her constituency
